I like your thinking. I'm glad I wasn't the only one seeing the whole "Go Green" stunt as a good opportunity to promote it lol. Another thing is, so many things are sold as chrome, that aren't even "real" chrome. Plastics would be #1 on the list, which are usually done with that mystery vacuum thing. I for one, have never purchased a chrome plated plastic widget that was real triple plated. I'm going to abuse some of my copy chrome plated parts, and see how they hold up compared to how chrome would (water spots, dirt, grease, etc.)
