hello, I just got my electroless nickel kit and have few questions. these plastic mist control balls... the manual talks very little and vaguely of them. what are they used for specifically and why? and on the insrtuction portion of the manual page 134, it talks of copper alloy check? touch with steel rod for a few minutes to activate.. what is this? and what kind of steel rod? ferrous, non ferrous? The heater that came with the kit, will this bring the bath to boil? 195 f degrees? and does it need to be cleaned so as to not contaminate the bath? I think that may do it for now thanks. also maybe a suggestion for this forum... since electroless nickel plating is so different from the other plating proccedures, perhaps the forum moderators could create an electroless section so all questions and answers on the subject might be found in one place... just a thought.
