The Columbia Hobby Nozzle arrived here yesterday. Got a chance to play with it a bit yesterday and today. Yesterday was mostly getting it to fit the Caswell gun and EW gun. I found that it was a little bit small. I'm assuming that the HF gun has a smaller barrel, like thousandths smaller. I had to take 400 sandpaper to it, so it would fit on the barrel. It has a O-ring on the inside of it to make it fit tight.
After getting that done, the next day (today) I put just a small amount of powder in the cup to give it a whirl. At this point, I'm at 50/50 on it. First off, I liked the spray pattern. It took a bit more air to the gun (still playing with that) But it didn't want to stick the powder. Not a problem I've had with this gun at all. I also backed away from the part farther then I ever have. It gets there in fine shape. Just took a long time for it to cover the part.
Also, I want to find out the significance of the ring and it's position on the nozzle. It, by the way, is plastic, I think. It's not metal like I thought it was. So, more testing in order. Will update any new findings in a different thread. AND make sure you take your foot off the pedal BEFORE you mess with the ring.

It carries quite a jolt!!
