Too slow or too quick of a heat up rate can contribute to OP. If I have some heavy material I'll put it in a 450 degree pre heated oven and monitor the part temp until it gets close (350 degrees) to cure temp (400 degrees) then turn down the oven to cure temp.
The opposite with thin walled material. I'll turn the oven on and set it to cure temp (400) and put the part in when the oven reaches 325 - 350.
In both scenarios, start the clock when the part reaches cure temp.
Does that make any sense.
