The opposite with thin walled material. I'll turn the oven on and set it to cure temp (400) and put the part in when the oven reaches 325 - 350.
In both scenarios, start the clock when the part reaches cure temp.

absolutely it makes sense to me. I've been placing the piece in the oven and turning on the heat and waiting for the piece to reach temp and then starting the clock. No wonder I've been getting OP. Most of the items I'm PC are between 3/8th to 1/2 inch in thickness (T-6061 aluminum).
