Default Alu, Cobalt and stripping

Hey Hey,

Just got my order in and i'm all ready at it^^

Few quick Q's

1.) Old Ano stripping, I have a fairly decent amount of ALU parts of diffrent sizes. I made up a small batch of the caswell ano stripper to try things out and it works amazing! But.....Towards the end of my pieces, the last few came out with a....I duno.....like a soot on them...(assuming its the old ano dye)...I can wipe it away easly but if it dries I have to restrip the part.......

Is their anyway to filter out this stuff and keep the stripper doing its job for many more parts? or when it gets gunked up, its time for a new batch?

2.) The plate process i'm doing is a Cobalt onto all the pieces and them a black Krome on a small few.... The Cobalt --> Black Krome is a pretty straight forward process But I getting confused about the start.

Do I....

Ano Strip --> Buff ---> Zincate ---> Cobalt ----Buff? for a quality shine (I cut out the rinse steps and whatnot)

Or do I cut out the first Buff phase and go from Strip to zincate to Cobalt?

Thanks a ton gang
-Mike
