Please help
hello all, im new to the forum. first off i would like to say thanks to all. i have found loads of usefull info on here. i have been powder coating for about 6 months and like everyone else i need a larger oven. im currenty using an old household 30 inch oven and now have lots of request for doing larger parts. so i recently picked up 2 old metal locker type cabinets. cut the sides off both and welded them together to make 1 larger one. it measures 32 deep 32 wide and 53 high. i am currently working on framing the outside with the metal studs purchased from lowes for $1.81 a piece. i was wondering if anyone has seen or used this type of insulation i have alot of laying around and if i could use it. i got it when a school had a fire and they built a temp steel building and used this stuff to insulate it. its about 3 1/2 thick and its in 4x8 sheets. i have no clue what it is. i plan on wraping the whole outside of the oven in 20ga galvanized sheet metal. im gonna try and put some pics up. also, how many elements will i need? i just scored a double self cleaning oven and was hoping i could use all the parts out of it. any help would be nice. thanks in advance.
