Default Re: Different methods for anodizing LCD and ANO?? What’s the difference

As basic and brief as I can

Old style - constant voltage(CV) anodize(ano)
Needs tank titrated to maintain proper acid ratio and aluminum content. They need to be kept at specific levels for proper growth.
Tank temp and other parameters need to be kept at a closer tolerance.

New style - constant current(CC) ano
CC ano compensates for fluctuations in acid, aluminum content tank temp and a few other parameters. It is a more forgiving method with the parameter tolerances.

LCD is a form of CC anodizing that by utilizing lower current densities decreases the number of thermal problems that arise. Best for beginner.
