I understand why a constant current power supply is ideal for anodizing but nobody can really give me good information whether a linear supply or a switcher is better. I read in a few places that a linear supply is better but without any explanation. Switchers switch so fast I don't know if it would really make a noticeable difference. Does anybody have any experiences with both types of supplies? What are you suggestions?

If I don't come to a good conclusion I will try both supplies and see if I can see any differences.
