The mastech units are pretty good... they're adjustable to within .1 amp, so even smaller parts are OK. BTW, whenevr I need to do 1 small part, I usually include a sacrificial part to spread out the current.
I use three of the Mastech units now, and have only had problems with one over the years... I had to send it back under warranty, but the company I bought it from took care of me. Be sure to ask your seller about warranty.
Yes, figure all surfaces in you SA calculations.
To convert sq.in to sq.ft., 52.5/144=.363888888sq.ft.
If you use 6 amps per sq.ft, that equals 2.18333 amps. Round up to 2.2amps.
Turn the volts all the way up and the amps all the way down. Turn on the power supply and slowly ramp up to 2.4 amps.
To build 1mil, run for two hours.
