Default Re: triple chrome vs. nickel/chrome vs. copy chrome

Triple chrome is three layers of plating, sometimes 4 (copper/nickel and chrome) This results in an overall better finish.

Nickel/Chrome is two layers of plating, and should only be applied on brand new, smooth parts.

Copy Chrome is one layer. It looks like chrome but is actually a modified nickel plate.

In the nickel/chrome combo you are paying for an extra set of chemicals and an authentic chrome finish.
