Might I add one suggestion though? Instead of laying the rim on a flat surface and rotating it for it's cure, why not coil some heavy gauge wire around the inside portion (where the tire is going to cover after mount anyways) and hang on a hook from there. This way you won't have any unsightly rough edges and such on your finished product.

I plan to use a fabricated wheel "hub" to grab the wheel in the bolt holes, no other contact.
