Default Re: Zincate and cobalt plating kit

Can I get the ticket number that you got that answer from?? I want I know who gave you such an unhelpful and rude answer.

Using zincate is pretty simple (in fact, the instructions are right on the web site). You dip the polished part in the zincate for a few seconds, then go into the plating kit.

We recommend flash copper plating before cobalt or nickel, because over a long time, the zincate will contaminate the cobalt or nickel baths with zinc.

It's not the end of the world if that happens. The zinc can easily be plated out onto dummy pieces of metal to restore your solution.
