I wouldn't use it. Babbitt can contain Copper, Antimony and Tin. Without knowing what type of babbitt you have, it may contain little of no lead. A good source of lead sheet is a plumbing suppy outlet. Some hardware stores carry it too.
If I use lead as a cathode will it hurt if it has babot in the lead?

The other common source is a roll of new lead roof flashing from a builders' merchant
