I'm getting coagulation in my black casewell dye. I used distilled water and have kept it covered. It has been a few weeks without agitation since it was mixed up and I used it last. Anyone have any idea why this is happening, or is this normal?

Assuming you haven't dragged any acid into it from the anodizing tank and contaminated the dye,; normal settling over time and evaporation can do this. I suppose you would call this normal, mix it again thoroughly before you use it again, you might also need to add a little water. When not in use, you should be storing the dye mixture in a bottle(s) with a tight cap to reduce evaporation.
