Like anything, it takes a little practice to get good. Practice on unimportant pieces first.
The kit is very straight forward. Most of the people we sell too have never plated/anodized anything before. Our tech support is geared towards helping people like you. You'll need a few other small items, like aluminum wire to hang the parts from.
