Alternative PSU?

Okay - I think my calculations may be wrong in the previous post and sorry for posting again - but I'm hoping its three time lucky!

Anyways - If I need a better power supply for the surfance area I'm looking at has anyone used an arc welder with a bridge rectifier on it?
