dye concentration and time

This is my first time anodizing.

My parts do not look like take the dye.

I wonder how much should i add into the water. I add about 10g for my 1L tank.

I have no idea how long it takes for the dye process.

Please help.

What king of dye are you using? Were there any instructions with it? What color are you using?

Having the proper dye and a good mix is important of course, but if the anodizing layer is close to optimum it should not be hard to dye. So if changing the dye mix doesn't solve your problem, you may find the anodizing process needs some adjustments.
