i'll soon be working on a gun body that had what i believe is steel guide pns, they aren't aluminum thats for sure, and they aren't removeable, so what is the best way to cover them up for the ano process, a little bit of extra cover won't hurt since these are not in a visable place when the gun is together.
somthing liek tan masking tap, a hot glue gun, fingernail polish or rubber cement, what should i use to cover this? thanks |

I've had good results using rubber cement. I've also had damaged parts from not letting the rubber cement dry thoroughly, and the acid got to it.
Make sure the mask is completely sealed and dry, and you should have no problem. Oh, and make sure no rubber cement strings contaminate the rest of the part. |
