Default The amazing Ano-Tester!

Okay...no so amazing but definately one of the handiest bits of kit I've thrown together in a few minutes.

All thats needed is a LED, battery and some metal prongs (in this case a couple aluminium rivets). Its a great way to check if you've anodised something especially when like us we do a lot of clear.

Anyways - just thought I would share

Excellent idea! I LOVE the simplicity of it.

There isn't anything to it - just completes a circuit.

Just grab a battery - resistor - LED - break the circuit with some pins of some sort - then wire the second pin back to the battery. We put a little switch to turn it off when needed but its not really.

The scary thing is how conductive your hands are when you cross the pins - watch out for grounding those big PSU's

This just seems faster. Instead of spending time reading a display all you have to do is touch an item. Light on, bad, light off, good.
