Smile Thickness of anodising

hi folks, i have some microphone bodies with a extreemly fine thread i need anodised, and i was wondering if the process would clog the threads?

what are your thoughts?

the thread size is approx 65tpi

Why risk it when you can use plugs, Mask-it or tapes to shield the threads?

The anodize will not clog the threads. It may tighten them up a little. Most threads cut in production are at least a class II. Sometimes a class III. If you feel some slack in the threads now, you should be ok. SS

it is an extreemly tight and fine thread. we will see, i will ask the anodising guys advice, he will have a better idea of his processes.
