brushed surface, anyone try it ?

I have a super fine stainless brush, and I have a part with a lot of irregular surfaces, anyone tried to finish work out with a brush before anodizing ? I also polished some brass with this brush, so I will have to clean it well first. This should leave a shine to the aluminum and no real brush looked I just want to use it for polishing the part.
