I like the whole idea of hot glue. so you anodize, dye, then hot glue, then bleach? then dye w/ a diff color and seal. is that correct (assuming thorough water washes in between)?

You missed a step... go back and re-read all the posts. After bleach, wash with acid (be sure to read up on how to do that).
I do things.
how long do you keep it in the acid after bleaching? Like a few dips in and out or like 3-5 minutes?
I just drop it in my little acid bucket for a minute or two. If the color still remains, after rinsing, go to the bleach & rinse, then acid & rinse again. Don't leave it soaking... only bleach and acid wash until the color is gone. You don't want to disolve your coating.

lets remind everyone that this acid step has a lethal chemical rxn with bleach that produces deadly chlorine gas. Wash parts well in Di water.
Now, also to keep in mind. This is only useful for a camo, splash design. Not useful for acid wash's, it will leach the colour out of the places you do want it to stay.
