Default Threaded holes= acid bleach

I have been doing several parts that have threaded holes, after anoddizing before dye I do a pre dye clean, just water and swish the part real good in it back and forth, then right into the dye. Everything perfect, then into the stam/boiling water seal, here is where I have problems, the acid from the anodizing solution must be getting trapped in the small threaded holes, when the hot water/steam hits it, the acid then comes out and bleaches the dye, and of course it's to late for another dye because the part is sealed. Any ideas ?

Clint

I have several different squeeze bottles for rinsing. An old liquid dish washing soap bottle works pretty good for blasting in the holes with rinse water.

I will give that a try, really hurts my feelings when a perfectly complete part comes out, then bleaches LOL

I use one of those pump sprayers from the garden department... not a big one with a hose, a little one that holds about a quart (be sure to disassemble and clean REALLY good first). First, I spray rinse the part into the tank, then dunk in the RO water rinse tank. Then, when going to the dye tank, I pull the part and spray into the holes really good... especially if I've threaded into a hole for a connection. Unscrew the hanging wire from the hole, rinse well, then thread back in again (with gloved hands of course).

You must have really pure potable water.
