strange finish

That is not anodized. It has an Aurora finish. I believe its done by running extremely high voltage through the aluminum. Many of the makers that it was done on were rendered unusable in the process. Search the PBN anodizing forum for much more info on it.

patented process if im not mistaken. Something like a 10% sucess rate. Planet eclipse stopped doing it since the sucess and in the end the profit were so poor due to so many other guns rendered scrap.
