things ive learned doing this kind of masking
1) let the parts fully dry before sticking
2) bleach, rince then acid dunk to get pure colour
thats it... lol, only the 1st one is a time saver. I hated doing this!!
But if this is your first time, great job, stickers look pretty straight to me.
the 2nd one I got cheap on the stickers, and theres only 1/2 the amount of squares, but man it came out clean, I wasnt getting the stickers masked down into it very well in all spots and had bleeding problems
i again find many of the bleeding problems water related. Any water will cause the stickers to lift a tiny amount in some areas (especially overlapped or difficult angles). I press down very hard on the stickers making sure no lifting whatsoever and leave a time to let the sticker set. Also, some stickers are better quality than others. Make sure they use a sticker with good adhesive properties (obviously), some stickers Ive tried dont have much stick.
What acid rain has suggested is also not to use any of the transfer paper. With these block designs thats not so much of a problem (will be with wording and other more complex and fine designs.
Yes my stickers actually came from acidrain![]()
oh sweet. I should order some off him too.![]()
BTW, if anyone wants to buy larger bulk dye, pm me.
yea the local place that I tried to get my vinyl made kind of gave me a weird look about the digi camo, they actually called asking if I could get them a better picture since the one I gave them was pixelized.
