Back flush kit for RO filter (how?)

Can someone tell me (or draw me a diagram) of how the back flush kit for the reverse osmosis filter hooks up?
I think it's probably time to flush my filter, but the instructions for the RO filter don't say anything about how to hook up the back flush hardware.
I can take a guess at it and probably get it right, but....
