Default Power supply

OK too lazy to find prev. post. I am looking at a 30 volt 20 amp and a 50 volt 20 amp. Do I really need 50 volts?

30 volts is good enough for almost a 12A CD. Unless you want to run a higher CD, the 30V will work fine.

The current density you want to run is what determines the voltage needed. The amount of amps is determined by the size of part you'll be running.
