Hey guys. I've just recently gotten into anodizing since I saw it as an economical way to do my own fabricated parts rather than have them sent somewhere. Been lurking here for awhile to get all the necessary info, and yesterday after a few days of setting up my kit and gathering equipment I did my first run.
Photos are here. I think it turned out pretty well. The dyes I was using are just fabric dyes, since I didn't want to spend money on good dyes for just fooling around until I got the hang of it. The yellow dye was garbage, but the blue worked quite well. Thanks to all you guys who've posted great info here. It really helped things go smoothly the first time through. |

Nice job! If you substitute a rectangle bin for the 5gal bucket ano bath, you'll find your parts will fit easier, and hang with some working space.
Overall, another successful first run.
