I want use a container and heat it on top of a portable electric range for nickel acetate.
I would like to avoid using ceramic heaters if I can. I know I can't use stainless steel or alum, but can I use Pyrex or a steel pot coated with porcelain enamel on the inside of the pot? Also, does the nickel acetate discolor my clear ano parts? Last edited by gforceracing; 02-02-2007 at 06:31 PM. |

I've used stainless, aluminum, and enamel coated.
Try a camp stove... they work really good.
