Default Reputable Rectifier??

I found this on Ebay and was curious to see if anyone knows if this is a good rectifier. I would like to purchase a caswell unit but the 5 amp unit is too small and the 20 amp is overkill for the size of parts i wanna do. What do you pros think ?

Looks like a nice unit, but I'd go with this one: http://cgi.ebay.com/MASTECH-DC-POWER...QQcmdZViewItem

Or if you're a do it yourself type, and know electricity/electronics...

You could try here:

It seems to be a good functional supply, with good design and instructions. The best I've found in a few weeks of casual looking.

Stay as far away from that seller "findingking" as you can. The only negative feedback on eBay I have is because of them. I bought an item with Buy it now. Paid with Paypal within minutes. I waited and waited for the item 4 weeks later I finally get it after NO replys to any of my emails. So I open the package to find part of it was missing...email after email and nothing weeks go by and them the rest finally shows up. I left them feedback stating poor communications. Within 10 minutes they left me negative feedback too! Go figure!

LAter,
Tim

Dont go with this little 3amp (Mastech HY1803D) one that I got. It starts to overheat after an hour at 1.5 amps and then it will not hold the amps steady anymore. It started bouncing from .7-2.0amps pretty quicky.

I would recommend a 10 amp unit.

Findingking is still around?....LOL Try looking them up, they don't even have a store front. They are a power seller on Ebay so don't expect Ebay to take your side. Always check a sellers feedback before you do business with them. If it smells like a fish....

On a positive note, ordered a 30volt 6amp Mastech rectifier today.
