Hi I was wondering if you could half submerge a part in the acid and anodize only the piece that is submerged...or does the whole part have to be in there? I have people wanting me to do their dirt bike rims and because I dont have a big enough tank I cant fit the whole thing in there. But if I could I would like to half submerge one side...anodize..then dye that one color...then do the other half another color....please let me know. Thanks,
Joey T. |

wuuuzuuup back at ya!
Yeah, I have tried this, and it actually works... sort of. The thing is, it will (at least) leave a hard line where the two passes overlap. It just would not be an acceptable product to offer a customer.
