Nice benchwork! What was the temperature of your dye? I had the same problem with blue4a @80'.

Color looks good, your finish looks alittle under par and underbuffed. Loving how the buckets are set up

I was not really going for finish just getting it to work...... The workbenches are working out very nicely ever bucket has its own power supply so when I'm do i can just turn it off.

I have a 56 gallon tank coming soon for anodizing, the bucket is a little small to do more than one or two parts. I also have a 1/4hp cooler coming and a small 1000 gph magnetic pump. The Homedepot buckets work nice for small dye tanks with 4 gallons of dye.

kco1196........ I had the dye at 135-140F.

Some places do. Other places refuse to use them as they can easily screw up internal tolerances.

What kind of tank did you order?

For those looking at the bigger tanks just a point to ponder. The etch, desmut, rinse and dye tanks usually don't have to be as big but they will need to be larger than a two or four gal. tank in the smaller setups. You'll need to take into consideration the part configuration and the part suspended configuration also. I've found that it's not hard to hang a part to go into the ano tank but to get through the other steps takes some figuring and planning. And Murphy will still bite you in the butt.
