Do you have the volts turned all the way up too?

I turn the volts all the way up, current all the way off, power on then adjust current but nothing happens unless I max out the coarse current adjustment then it switches over to CV.

Did you buy it new? Should be under warranty. Turn around is surprisingly fast.

I bought it new off Ebay I think back in March just used it for the first time yesterday and well...poof! I am trying to track down my info as I was told it came with a one year warranty.

I am thinking about buying another one in addition to having this one repaired but i do not want a repeat performance. Do you think this was just a bad unit? Do you have any experience with this unit?

Thanks again...

I have 3ea 20 amp units right now. I've had one go bad in the ~3 years I've been using them. I also bought it off ebay. You should be able to go back in your ebay stuff and find the seller, or from your paypal sumary (if thats how you paid).
Contact them, and they will give you the distributor info. Call the distributor, and set up a return authorization. I was surprised at how easy it was to get a repair/exchange.

Thank for your help I have found the info and sent the seller an email.

I purchased it from http://shop.vendio.com/evan2002 in his Ebay store on March 11th.

I think I will order another one and send this one in for repair.

Thanks again,
Dusty

Acidrain do you know who you purchased yours from the guy I just got off the phone with was no real help and seems to think there is nothing wrong with the equipment.
