Sput welder, where can I buy one of these?

Hello,

I had some problems lately with bad connections and I'm tired of it. Just called Caswell to buy a Sput Welder and they told me they do not sell them anymore

The salesman told me the guy who used to make them for caswell has passed away and they cannot make them anymore.

Anyone have one for sale or know where to buy this kind of welding devise.

Damn. I just emailed Caswell a couple days ago asking about the sput welder.
They didn't bother to send me an answer...
I guess when Paul passed away the sput welder passed with him.

If someone finds a new source for these, PLEASE let me know too. I'm ready for one. sigh.

Funny, Caswell recently deleated a thread with the reason being "reverse engineering a sput welder".

OK, I got $24, tell me about the high roller version.
Caswell obviously doesn't sell sput welders anymore, dunno why they should care.

We did have someone make us some new welders but they turned out to be a failure. Everytime we sent one out it would come right back. They were nothing like the originals.
Unfortunately at this time we don't have a replacement.
I wish we did. I need one at home for myself.
