I think there is an alternator fairly common that has a bearing built into the back of the case I think, not removable. Anyone know which this is?
I am thinking about buying a barrel of used/junk alternators for a couple bucks each. Should be good practice for anodizing and powder coating now and sellable later.
What to do if the rear bearing can not be removed I am not sure about. I should probably avoid that one? Will anodizing the case or baking it destroy that bearing? I don't think it would be good for it.
I'm wanting Ford, GM, Dodge types to work on, I think it was one of those that had that bearing perhaps, anyone know which one?
