    Question Edges

    I'm anodizing 6061 Aluminum (square shape) and find that the edges don't take the anodize like the rest of the part. The coloring is lighter if not at all.

    What is your set up? Cathode size adequate?
    It sounds like maybe the parts are surface contaminated along the edges. Did you degrease, and did the parts pass the water-break test?
    I've never had parts react like that.
