You know I hate to bring back an older thread, but I havent been on the forum in awhile and I think I know what this guy is talking about. A fresh batch of black dye from caswell, I bought early november or somewhere in there. If I oversoaked the parts, they would have this bronze color, and when they were sealed, they would have a purpleish bronze overtone to them that would not wash off. My old caswell dye did not do this.
