Default sealant

im having trouble with the sealant i just bought, the colors after the ano are great, but after sealed the piece has white spots, and looses a bit of the color. yesterday y dyed two pieces that have the same dimensions and i did the same process on both, but i left one unsealed, and today the one unsealed has the same color than yesterday but the one sealed look like i said before, any ideas what is wrong??(im using the caswell's sealant the one that uses 1oz per gal)

Are you boiling (or near boiling) the part for 20 minutes?
Removing from the hot sealer, and emediately going to a dunk rinse tank, then spraying with WD-40 and wipe clean?

hmm...white spots are usually from chlorides but thats if you didn't use D.I. water. Check back up the line right after you take it out of the anodize tank look for spots.

sealer tank needs to be stainless steel or plastic(polypropylene), and made up of D.I. water. If you use S.S. make sure you insulate the load bar if its metal so you don't have any stray currents that will cause pitting or white spots if there are chlorides present.

white spots are mainly caused by impurities in the water.

I've had problems with metal tanks ruining the sealer... the sealer turned cloudy and left deposits. Is your sealer nice and clear/green? If it's milky the sealer is ruined.
