I agree with Empire.
Also, for doing PB guns, you'll want to ano everything all at once. That means a much larger ano tank than just 5gal buckets. I like the large rubermaid bins for tanks... get the largest they make for the ano tank, and 10gal bins for the dyes and such. I suggest a 20 amp, 20 volt (minimum) CC/CV power source. What you need form Caswell is: Buffing wheels and compounds De-ox/de-smut SP degreaser Dyes High temp sealer PS (if they have an appropriate size) Chemicals you can buy locally: Lacquer thinner Battery acid Distilled water Lye Additional apparatus to think about: Bead blast cabinet Large buffing stand Reverse osmosis water purifier racking system heating/cooling system open flame burners Large canning pots Small pump-up sprayer

The colors are cheap... it's the rest of the stuff that's going to cost ya. Caswell chemicals will run $100 or so.
The big hit is the PS. Plan on spending $250 minimum for that. Apparatus will cost you another $100 or so (depending on if you have a camp stove or other means of heat). Local chemicals will be another $50 or so. I usually tell people to plan on spending $500 just to give it a try. That doesn't include any metal prep equipment like blast cabinet or buffing.

We use the LCD method, so you'll need to follow that criteria for help here. You can buy the on-line manual from Caswell: https://www.caswellplating.com/manual/
Or just google search the web for some basics: http://www.google.com/search?sourcei...odize+aluminum Also see the photo gallery on these forums for apparatus ideas.
