Question Prep Before anodizing!

Reading the posts wow you guys know lot!
I have a question?
I have two 04 Harley Davidson VRod Rims (front and rear)I would like the rims anodized. Inside the rims is says Cast Aluminum.

Question #1
Can these be anodized red?
Question #2
Should I polish the rims before sending to be anodized?
Question #3
The cat got in the garage and ****ed on the rims. It seems like it etched the rims as OTC Aluminum polish wont get the marks out? Will it matter after anodizing?

Cast aluminum is hit and miss... all you can do is try and see if it works.
If you don't have the equipment, it would be best to just pay the anodizer to polish the parts for you.
As far as the cat ****, it will need to be polished out before ano. It will cost accordingly.
I would offer to help you out, but my tanks are not big enough.

Yea got a guy said he will do both rims for 200 bucks. Bu I bought the polishing kit here and figure I would polish them real nice before taking them to the anodizer guy. BUt dunno how to get the cat urine out. Is there anything i can soak the the rims in to maybe take the urine stains out?

A mix of sodium hydroxide and water will clean them up.

The sodium hydroxide will etch and dull the polished surfaces.

OK I am better. I have been dirty as all get out and the rims look real nice. I do have one more question. I am down to the white polish and it looks real good however when i use the white polish I can still see the wheels marks from the white polishing layer. Like its still cutting but its a new wheel and the tires are cleaned before using them. Out of sun they look great in the sun you can see the marks. What do i do? And it is the marks from white cause i tried different directions and they change as i change them

Try doing the last part by hand using mothers mag polish and a soft cotton cloth.
