Hi,
I'm new to anodizing. I don't even have a set up yet. But I was wondering if anyone could tell me the range of sizes the pores in the aluminum could actually reach. I have heard that pigment can be used to colour the aluminum, as opposed to dyes. would a pigment as large as 3 micrometres be too large? Barring that, I can apply it in a coat of epoxy. Would that provide enough corrosion resistance if I leave the pores unsealed (to hold the epoxy better)? Thanks |
