OK I took everyones advice from the last thread and did it and it only worked on the connection wire. The part got blue and wire got dark blue. I put the part in the boiling water for 30 sec and the part is silver, but the wire is an optimal dark blue color. Any ideas why I can only dye the wire? lol
Thanks, nic |

You lost connection to your part... probably the most common problem in anodizing.
The connection needs to be really tight, and the fact that the ano coating is an insulator is working against you. If you can, use titanium wire instead. You won't be sorry.
