Thread: Anodizing 7000 series aluminum

    Default Anodizing 7000 series aluminum

    Does anyone have experience anodizing 7075 or 7050 aluminum? Any special techniques needed?

    These alloys are high in zinc content, which makes them harder to anodize successfully. Pre-dipping with our de-oxidizer product should solve the problems associated with this alloy.
