Default neon-dyes

Hi there guys!!!

First, I have to say......this is a customer's choice. He wants a bright, shiny neon color. Ugly, but true

Is there any way to do this with "standard-dyes"?

I have no idea, to start with.....sandblasted, polished, etched.....what do you think?

Has anybody done such a job before?

Greets from Germany.....the LOON

Just any color as long as it's bright? I haven't gotten a chance to use very many of caswell's dyes yet, but of those that I have used, fluorescent pink done in gloss is by far the brightest.

Although, I've been told that truly fluorescent colors are a pigment-only thing and can't be achieved with dye.

It's a paintball player and for some reason he likes some kind of.....how should I explain......let me call it the "80's-Miami-Vice-style".....
I think a bright pink from Caswell will match in combination with baby-blue....

That was my guess, too......I thought about a "technique" to fake it.....like "white ano"......

Thanx 2 all of you.....I'll spend some money, and get these dyes from Caswell....
I'm really anxious to see, if there's any difference between my "german dyes" (which actually come from Australia) and the "Caswell Stuff".....
I'll report....

Thanx again, the LOON

Just did some RC parts and used florescent yellow as the first dip and then dipped the parts in Green SCN for a brief period to get a nice lime green florescent.
