Mist Balls, Options without them? - Plating Powder Coating Buffing Anodizing

I am guessing if you set up a hood and exhaust you don't really need these? How many people are using them? What are the alternatives to them? And last but not least, how do they work and how long do they last?

I have considered using them. but never got around to trying them. They float on top of the tank and reduce the amount of mist that can come off the surface of the acid.

Ok, so I guess most people *don't* use them...I am going to get or build an exhaust hood and vent to the outside for starters.

I use them in a plating tank(for heat retention) but not in my ano tank. If using aeration for agitation, I could see their usefulness. You are correct that not many are using them. At least, from all the people I've talked to.
