Default need polishing help.

hey i need a cheap chinsey way to polish my pieces before anno'ing, any help of ways that work well and are cheap are much appreciated. thanx

There's the right way, and then there's my way... they are both the same.
A bench grinder with a spiral sewn cotton wheel used with tan compound is about as cheap as you're gonna get.

so it does work to use a bench grinder? and i already have the tan compound, well actually i have several but i assume i want to use the silcone free one right? also what the life span on the cotton polishing wheels? thanx.

They last a good long time as long as you're starting with parts that are already pretty close to gloss (existing gloss or milled finish). If the parts are heavily etched, or starting from a sand paper finish, you may want to add a cut step using spiral sewn sisal and black compound.
Check your rpm speed of your bench grinder, and calculate the wheel diameter needed by using Caswell's surface speed calculator: Introduction To Buffing and Polishing - Caswell Inc.
