    Default whats better for stripper?

hello everybody just wondering if anyone has used both a lye mixture vs. caswells anno stripper? because right now im using caswells stripper and it just doesnt seem to work very good. appearantly i should not submerse the part for longer than 5 minutes but 5 minutes seems to barely do anything. any suggestions?

and if i decide to go with a lye mixture what amount of lye to water ratio do i want for best results? thanx.

Try warming the Caswell stripper to 70F or so.

Any pure lye drain cleaner will work... make sure it's only white crystals with no metals or funky blue crystals mixed in.
Lowes sells a 32oz container for 5 or 6 bucks.
Mix 16oz with 2 gal. water. It will get hot when you mix it, so watch that it's not more than 60F or so when you use it.
    I do things.

I only heat it if it's not working, but don't heat it too much.
