Default Uniform air agitation

For some reason I can't get the air to flow uniformly from the pipe I've drilled and set at the bottom of the tank. I've checked the holes and pipe for obstruction. I'm guessing fewer or smaller holes near the beginning but if someone knows a good pattern it would save me a bit of trial and error. Any suggestions on how to get uniform bubbles throughout the tank are appreciated.

It sounds like there isn't enough air volume for the number/size of holes. I would suggest more air volume or fewer holes or smaller holes or any combination. It's kind of hard to make the holes any smaller but you could try covering every other hole with electricians tape and see how that changes things.

My pattern is 1/16 inch hole every 2 inches.
I've noticed there are less bubbles at the opposite end of the air inlet... I'm thinking of adding air to both ends to make it more even.

I've used 1/16" x 2" same as acid. worked fine.
You may try turning the holes down and see if it helps. Also the level of the pipe will have a slight effect on it.

I appreciate the help. I have a dc motor and I think I'll give agitation a try as well as adding air to both ends of the pipe.
