Default Newbie: Acid to Water Ratio

I've jumped in & bought my first tubs of acid & distiiled water & I've got sooo many qu's to ask.

I got the acid from a UK battery specialist & it's marked as 1/28 kg/l. I've mixed this 1 part acid with 3 parts water, is this right?

First run, I connected the cathode positive & the part negative. My charger tripped & reset continously & there were lots (LOTS) of bubbles, no lasting damage done I hope?

I'm having trouble wiring up the parts I'm trying to anodise & would much prefer to use titanium rod, I can get the rod locally but not wire, will it be OK to mix the rod with (sacrificial) alloy wire?

My thanks in advance, I'm off back to the workshop.

Yeah, only for a couple of minutes though. I was a bit too eager to get my first part anodised.

Not that I've noticed, it's a piece of old lead flashing.

i suggest you give the lead a thorough clean with a scotch brite pad and rinse in distilled water before you go any further. its always better to be safe than sorry.
